I’ve compiled a few resources for artists looking for residency opportunities. Here are a few sites that support artists and specifically list interesting residency opportunities as part of their service to artists:

 

Creative Capital

Every couple of months, Creative Capital send out a newsletter with upcoming grant and residency opportunities. They also publish occasional articles to provide advice on making applications and other useful information for artists.

Residency Unlimited – opportunities

Residency Unlimited (RU) supports the creation, presentation and dissemination of contemporary art through its unique residency program and year-round public programs. We forge strategic partnerships with collaborating institutions to offer customized residencies designed to meet the individual needs of participating artists and curators. They also provide a free listing service delivering up-to-date information about artist residencies worldwide.

TransArtists

DutchCulture|TransArtists combines and shares knowledge and experience on artist-in-programmes and other international opportunities for creative professionals to temporarily stay and work elsewhere. We offer you all about facts, use and value of international artist-in-residence opportunities. Our tools and services are developed from the artists’ perspective. Our goal is to make the enormous worldwide residential art labyrinth accessible and usable to artists through our website, workshops, AiR collection, research and projects.
